It’s a statement and a color many of us desis will love. Check it out! Candy Yum Yum (matte) Candy Yum Yum is a neon pink. Without a tan or a bit of bronzer it can look a bit “barbie” but I love tanned skin and I love how this color looks with a tan. I get tons of compliments whenever I wear this lipstick so I had to include it on this list. It can work on all tones of desi skin but I prefer it on lighter skin types more.

Onto some colour descriptions and observations Steady Going (Retro Matte) – A light-medium cool toned pink with medium colour payoff in a single swipe. The drier formula tends to tug on the lips on application and felt continuously drier as the day passed. Wear wise these wore forever! Although after 2-3 hours they did look a little beat and reapplication is a must just to rehydrate lips and keep the colour looking fresh. Runway Hit (Retro Matte) – A neutral toned peach with a heavy white base.

The other factors (in no specific order) are the ingredients in the lipstick, fancy packaging, the boldness of the color, and if the lipstick bleeds or comes off easily. My favorite thing about are the adorable little bits of red flakes that makes the black appearance. Well, not so black. If your fear is that your black lipstick is going to be far too bold for your complexion, then this lipstick is the way to go. It goes on super smooth and doesn't dry out your lips at all. I wore my black lipstick for about 15 hours and needed to reapply about six times because it isn't super thick.
